Description

Powder coated bowl featuring Mina Mina Jukurrpa by Judy Napangardi Watson.

Mina Mina is a place far to the west of Yuendumu, significant to Napangardi/Napanangka women and Japangardi/Japanangka men. The Jukurrpa tells of a group of women of all ages who travelled east from Mina Mina, gathering food, collecting Ngalyipi (snake vine) and performing ceremonies. The wavy lines represent the snake vine, the 'u' shapes the women, the circles edible mushrooms, and the straight lines digging sticks.

Dimensions: D 10cm x H 5cm
