Meet Kylie-Lee Bradford
Kylie-Lee Bradford brings with her a wealth of experience in entrepreneurship and business as owner and founder of Kakadu Organics. Her passion for creating sustainable communities and increasing economic empowerment for Aboriginal people in business aligns seamlessly with our vision at Welcome to Country; to see more prosperous First Nations communities. Kylie-Lee’s insights, leadership, and commitment to fostering positive change will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and success of our social enterprise.
Meet Nancy Bamaga
Nancy Bamaga is a Thabu/Samu person from Saibai Island in the Torres Strait Islands. Her deep understanding of leadership, cultural development and community facilitation will be a tremendous asset to our organisation. Nancy was recently awarded the 2023 QTIC Award for Recognition 40-year contribution to the First Nation Tourism Industry. Nancy’s dedication to empowering First Nations communities and promoting cultural awareness resonates with Welcome to Country’s mission, and we are honoured to have her on board.
As we embark on this new chapter with Kylie-Lee Bradford and Nancy Bamaga joining our Board of Directors, we are reinforced in our commitment to creating meaningful and sustainable impact within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Their collective wisdom, diverse perspectives, and unwavering dedication to the purpose and vision of Welcome to Country will undoubtedly steer us toward deadly achievements.
