Follow your Yura guide on an entertaining and informative stroll to the Old Wilpena Station, one of South Australia's oldest and best preserved pastoral settlements.
This two hour tour meanders along Wilpena Creek past magnificent river red gums and stunning views of picturesque Wilpena Pound in the distance. Central to the Yura Udnyu tour is the exploration of Yura culture and history and its intersection with white history. During the tour you will learn about the diversity of the land, native animals and bush tucker through the changing seasons.
Once at Old Wilpena Station you will discover the history of the station, the Heritage listed site is a valuable archive of pastoral history in the Flinders Ranges.
