Insights into your experience

Walk amongst the ancient escarpments of Mirima National Park.  Let our local Indigenous tour guides teach you about bush plants and their uses.  Learn about the cultural importance of Mirima and the Indigenous history of Kununurra and its surrounds.  Our local Miriwoong people will show you the rock art and describe their meanings on this 30 minute walk.

After our on Country walk we visit the oldest Aboriginal Art Centre in WA, Waringarri, meaning ‘big mob of people coming together’.

Engage and be inspired by our artists and experience the meaning behind their artwork as you watch them painting in their own studios. Take this unique opportunity to see through the eyes of an artist as they paint and create.

Enjoy some bush tucker, damper and a cuppa whilst listening to the mesmerising sounds of the didgeridoo.

To conclude your experience why not purchase a unique gift to remember our culture and your experience from the gallery.
