Learn from our local Aboriginal tour guides as they share the skills, knowledge and stories of their art, country and culture while visiting locations special to Miriwoong people.
Connect with Miriwoong custodians on their traditional lands and see the Country made famous by our Kimberley artists.
In your own 4WD follow our experienced local Indigenous tour guides as they take you to unique places outside Kununurra. Visit important dreamtime areas, fishing places and historical sites within Country integral to Traditional Owners.
Participate in traditional activities such as artefact making and damper cooking around a fire while engaging with local Indigenous people. Enjoy a bush lunch and a didgeridoo performance.
Your tour concludes back at the Art Centre where you can view and or purchase art relevant to sites you visited during the day. This creates a great insight to how each artist interprets their country through their individual pieces.
This 3.5 hour tour runs weekly on Wednesday and Fridays at 9:00am.
