Spend the day with a local Kuku Yalanji Aboriginal guide, visiting some cultural sights, learning about the history of the people and how the people have maintained their culture and adapted to modern day life.
Our Sightseeing tours travel north of the Daintree river and explores the Daintree rainforest and environment around Cape Tribulation, where the rainforest meets the reef.
On this full day sightseeing tour, you will spend the day with a local Aboriginal tour guide, visiting a number of culturally significant sights and local attractions including World Heritage Daintree. Explore the region, up to Cape Tribulation and including a guided rainforest walk through the Daintree rainforest - the world’s oldest living rainforest.
Learn the amazing relationships the Kuku Yalanji still have with their land and experience these diverse environments.
Sample some seasonal bush tucker and learn bush medicines. Take a guided rainforest walk, while appreciating the history, culture and traditions of our Australian Aboriginal people.
See natural wonders, the majestic Daintree river, and if you’re lucky spot some wildlife. Learn about the rainforest, reef and coastal habitats and environment. Take a swim at one of the pristine freshwater streams in the area before returning to your accommodation.
Pick ups from Port Douglas, Mossman and Daintree Village are included in the tour price.
Tours run year round with a minimum for 2 and a maximum of 11 guests.
This experience is 8 hours in duration. Pick up: 8:00am - 9:00am; Drop off: 4:30pm - 5:30pm.
