YOUR EXPERIENCE PROVIDER
This is a private experience, between your group and Aboriginal artist Kate Constantine.
Kate Constantine, Konstantina, is an award-winning contemporary Aboriginal dot painter, activist, mother and storyteller. She is passionate about restoring Aboriginal Art and Culture to its rightful place of prominence.
In this experience, join Konstantina for lunch in her private home, on the amazing deck overlooking Mullumbimby and the entire stretch of hinterland.
Sitting down to lunch with someone is to get to know their thoughts, feelings and persuasion. Chat whilst overlooking 250-degree views of the Hinterland from the hilltop escarpment and find out about all that makes Aboriginal Art the most blossoming of all the arts practices in the modern art world today.
Enjoy a delicious 3 course seasonally selected organic menu from a local chef served with carefully paired wines and or boutique locally brewed beer.
Using a traditional yarning circle Konstantina will introduce you to her way of contemporary Aboriginal dot painting and explore the significance of colour while you create an artwork inspired by storytelling and the mindful use of colour.
Enjoy a two hour fully immersive painting workshop. Price includes all materials. Please come dressed in clothes you won’t mind a splash of extra colour on.
This is a 3.5 hour experience at Kate’s property.
This experience operates on Fridays from pick up at guests accommodation at midday and returned to their accommodation by 5:00pm (if within 1 hour of Coorabell).
Lunch begins at 1pm, followed by the Art workshop which will conclude at 4:30pm.
