Joe (Dingo) Parry, Lucy Carlingung and family invite you to join them for an adventure on their Traditional Lands, stretching across 80,000 acres, west of Daly River in the Northern Territory. Watjan Tours offers customised tag-along tours on their beautiful Country, including the Wadeye community, located 3-4 hours’ drive south-west of Darwin. Come and experience cultural tourism, including traditional Aboriginal ways of life, and learn fascinating local history from your friendly and knowledgeable guides.
Discover the natural beauty of our lands, and those of our neighbours too, if you wish. There is plenty to see and do from diverse wildlife and a wide variety of habitats, including rivers, billabongs, sprawling wetlands and seemingly endless open plains. Watjan Tours are self-drive and self-catered. We lead and you follow. We operate during the wet season and we’re flexible on the itinerary, let us know what interests you and we can come up with a plan.
